Welcome to my online persona, PokewithStick!
One of many bored and random domain name purchases that became my default substitute for my real name. This site is my About Me home and online calling card, as well as somewhere to put random pictures and notes about my interests. I have a very eclectic range of topics I enjoy or drool over but I can be summed up as very nerdy and outdoorsy. A bit if an odd mix but years ago I was your stereotypical fat nerd who spent all his time online or watching TV until one night of too many beers I haphazardly ordered a 12 foot kayak from Amazon. When it arrive it made a lovely backrest while watching TV until I decided I had better make use of it. Having found that fun existed offline and outdoors I began finding other activities to enjoy such as camping, backpacking, crossfit, 5k's and obstacle course racing.
So, in addition to having a wealth of pop culture trivia I also enjoy movies, documentaries, museums, road trips, TED talks, SciFi, and gaming.
